A University of Toronto–trained physiotherapist with a background in Kinesiology from York University, Leanna brings both clinical expertise and an athlete’s mindset to care 💪 From international track and field to gymnastics and Taekwondo, movement has always been at the core of her life.

She has a special passion for pelvic floor physiotherapy and women’s health, supporting patients through pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and beyond helping address pain, dysfunction, and performance at every stage of life ✨

These T-spine mobility drills help restore rotation, open your chest, guide proper rib control, and support smoother, stronger shoulder mechanics. A little mobility goes a long way.

Working through Achilles tendinitis isn’t about doing everything at once, it’s about progressing step by step 🦶🔥

Start with isometric holds to calm pain and guide new collagen alignment, then ease into elevated-heel holds for the same reps and duration.

Add wall-sit calf raises for controlled movement, progress to full slant-board calf raises for a deeper stretch, and when the tendon is ready, introduce light hopping to prep for sport.

Simple progressions, big difference. Your Achilles will thank you for the patience.
