It has been a hard few years for everyone. I have never seen our community so divided which is heartbreaking 💔 I have had a hard few years myself but I have grown a lot through it all. I’ve learnt through losing my dad to cancer last year that we need to stop attacking each other for the choices we each make and just respect and empathize with one another. At the end of life nothing really matters other than the memories you have made with the people you care about. So stop attacking your friends and family for having different opinions or making different choices and come together and support each other through it all ❤️🤗

I used to do a fundraiser each year just because I believe in giving back to the community. I went through a period of heartbreak and didn’t have it in me to continue. I have since put myself back together and ready to contribute. This year in honor of my dad I’m doing Terry Fox Run. Either donate, join me as a team member or just re-connect with a friend or family you haven’t talked to for a while, because you are waiting for a good time to do so. Make time TODAY because you may never have a chance to later🙏❤️

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season so far. Please note that our clinic is closed for the holidays until Jan 4th to give our staff a break as we have been working long hours to serve our patients. If you would like to book an appointment for the week of Jan 4th, please email us at info@active-med.ca and we can schedule your appointment. We wish all of you a peaceful and healthy holiday season. I'm pleased to announce that we will be re-opening the clinic in limited capacity as of next week. Please be patient with us as we try our best to implement the new policies and procedures we have in place to keep us all safe.
We will be providing the same great service but with safety measures put in place which will affect the time required for bookings and treatments.
We will continue to do most administrative tasks virtually which means the reception will not be in full capacity at the clinic. If you require an appointment or have an urgent request, please continue to email us for a prompt response.

We thank you for your patience and support through these difficult times as we try to get back to our new normal.

Active-Med continues to stay closed to comply with the social distancing guidelines. However, since our services are deemed essential we are monitoring our phones and emails to triage patients and will continue to support our patients during this time either by in clinic sessions for emergency/acute cases or by virtual sessions at home.

If you need us, we are here for you and will help you in any way we can.

Hang in there... we will get through this together.

As per College of chiropractors of Ontario, CMTO and ministry of health we are all required to suspend treatments for non-emergency cases. As such we are cancelling appointments until April 1st, 2020. We will continue to update our patients on a weekly basis.
Dr. Maryam Nik will be available through email and phone for patients who are seeking education, advice and non-manual care.
Additionally, we will be taking on emergency visits on a case by case. Please email or call us at 905-237-2012 or info@active-med.ca should you require emergency visits.
Our staff are all healthy and well and will be ready to get back to work as soon as we can based on the updates.
