Our veterans and active service members exemplify what it truly means to be Canadian – courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication to protecting others. From Vimy Ridge to peacekeeping missions worldwide, their commitment to justice and democracy has shaped our nation's character.

To our fallen heroes, our veterans, and their families who've borne the weight of service: your sacrifice will never be forgotten. To those currently serving, both at home and abroad: your dedication inspires us all.
You remind us that freedom isn't free – it's protected by brave men and women who stand guard in our darkest hours.

As we pin our poppies close to our hearts, let's honor their memory not just with silence, but with action – by building the peaceful, inclusive Canada they fought to protect. We will remember them. 🍁❤️

As we gather this season, we are reminded of the importance of community, resilience, and gratitude. We are thankful for the trust and partnerships we’ve built and for the opportunity to protect and serve those who matter most.

It’s hard to believe a year has passed since October 7. Today is a solemn reminder of a turning point in history, one filled with profound loss and ongoing challenges.

We hoped that by now, recovery would have come—but we are still in the fight: for our existence, for peace, and for the return of the 101 hostages. This past year has brought deep pain and uncertainty. Yet, through it all, we have stood strong, united, and resilient, truly embodying the spirit of being "Part of the Pack."

We honor the families, friends, and community members we have lost. We pay tribute to those who fought and continue to fight—for the soldiers at the frontlines, their partners holding it all together at home, and everyone playing their part in whatever way they can. You are the light in our darkest hours.

We still face great challenges, but the true strength of this place we call "home" lies in its people. Through innovation, determination, and an unbreakable spirit—even under fire—we endure as a nation of lions.

Let’s remain strong, united, and steadfast. Together, we will prevail.
