[Job Posting] Optometric Assistant / Receptionist (Part-Time) – Richmond Hill

We are a growing optometry clinic located in Richmond Hill looking for a part-time Optometric Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.

Position Type:

Part-time

Saturday availability required

Responsibilities include:

Greeting patients and managing appointments

Answering phone calls and assisting with general inquiries

Performing diagnostic testing and pre-testing using clinic equipment

Assisting the optometrist with day-to-day clinic operations

Qualifications:

Fluent in English

Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented

Experience preferred but not required – training will be provided

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Location:

Richmond Hill, ON

Dear Patients,

The government of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Optometrists have agreed to enter formal negotiations. This means effective Nov 23rd, 2021 there will be a PAUSE to the job action, as long as the government negotiates in good faith.

We will be resume eye exams for all OHIP covered patients (Seniors, Children and patients with certain medical conditions)

Please be patient as we deal with a backlog of appointments that were cancelled during the past three months.
We will be rebooking in order of priority sequence. If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please click on "book appointment" button and we will contact you as soon as we have an appointment available.
