Meet our new Naturopathic Doctor - Dr. Maya McCready, BSc, ND!

Dr. Maya joined RHNC in September 2016. She graduated from CCNM in 2005, and worked in various clinical settings, including running her own award winning multi-disciplinary clinic until 2013. In 2013 she moved to Vancouver to be with her husband and have their first child. While in Vancouver she worked as clinical faculty at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, where she was responsible for teaching and assessing students on clinical competences. In 2015 she moved to Newmarket, ON and had her second child. She is now excited to be back practicing at RHNC!

Dr. Maya has a general practice, with a special interest in women’s health and stress related conditions. She is certified in mind-body medicine by Harvard University Mind Body Institute.
She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and is licensed and registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).

Maya strives to live by the naturopathic principles. She teaches and practices yoga and meditation to help her achieve this.

It is with mixed emotions that we are announcing Dr. Chelsea Derry’s leave from RHNC, effective September 1st, 2016.

Dr. Chelsea has been pursuing studies in Laboratory Science over the last couple of years, and is taking time away from her active medical practice to complete these studies. Dr. Chelsea has been with RHNC since its inception in 2013. Those were wonderful years of professional collaboration, providing exceptional patient care and having lots of fun.

It has been a great honour to have her as a part of our clinical team and she will be missed! We wish Dr. Derry all the success in her new and exciting career path.

Last week we celebrated our 2nd Anniversary and we would like to thank everybody who attended the event in spite of the heavy rain!!!

It became our tradition to have our Open House around the same time with the Heritage Village Festival celebrated every year in Richmond Hill.
