Here’s Maria in her “Model 3105-D” by Matsuda!

The engraved gold hardware of this frame suits Maria’s complexion beautifully, and provides an elegant jewelry-like quality to the look.

Due to its rimless design, we were able to custom-size this frame to ensure absolutely perfect eye placement. In addition, the perimeter of the lenses were hand-polished to add an element of invisibility, but also a subtle lustre at certain angles.

Here’s Debbie in her new eyeglasses, the “Model 3114” by Matsuda!

This beautiful frame is a combination of Japanese acetate, and an intricate precious metal chassis. The design features elegantly placed engraved lacquer on the temples reminiscent of stained glass windows and inspired by gothic architecture.

The gloss black acetate and polished silver accents of this frame complement Debbie’s cooler tones, and elegantly highlights her blue eye colour. We paired this frame with a multifocal prescription lens which corrects Debbie’s vision in all areas for full-day use.

Here’s Tara in her new eyeglasses, the “Fairmont” by Oliver Peoples!

A timeless, and sophisticated frame suitable for any occasion. This soft square frame complements Tara’s face shape perfectly, and the warm sandalwood colouring provides contrast against her blue eye colour allowing it to pop beautifully!

Tara has a slightly higher prescription which can cause unwanted thickness around the perimeter of lenses, and weight. Choosing a properly fitting frame is of utmost importance not only for aesthetics, but comfort throughout the day.

Here’s Dave in his new eyeglasses, the “Desmon” by Oliver Peoples!

This vintage-inspired frame features a distinct keyhole bridge, and bevelled edges - a great new everyday frame for Dave. For a sun option, we did a custom sunglasses clip-on in a polished silver, with polarized grey lenses which beautifully match the silver hardware on the frame!

Here’s Jake in his new sunglasses, the “Maysen” by Oliver Peoples!

This is an incredible piece from Oliver Peoples’s “Nineteen Sixties” collection which showcases bold, distinctive styles of the era. This angular shape features a timeless keyhole nose bridge, and beautifully combines a cool, two-toned frame colour with a warm cognac brown mineral glass lens which adds depth and dimension to the look.

Here’s Mason in his new custom sunglasses, the “O’Malley” by Oliver Peoples!

This piece is amazing on Mason. Originally an eyeglass, we customized this with a set of brown polarized sunglass lenses which pairs amazingly with the warm olive tortoise acetate. This combination adds character and dimension to an otherwise classic shape suitable for any occasion.

Here’s Thea in her new sunglasses, the “Model 3123” by Matsuda!

This sunglass is a perfect example of combining a classic shape with a contemporary aesthetic. Featuring Japanese acetate inserts, a hand- lacquered top bar, and titanium temples make this piece bold and lightweight. Stylistically, this suits Thea’s look incredibly - we fitted Thea with a prescription polarized green lens which pairs beautifully with the earth tones of this frame, and is perfect for lower mainland weather for year-round use.

Here’s Nikita in her new sunglasses, the “Keeffe” by Tejesta!

Nikita is a Richmond-based musician and DJ who regularly performs at weddings and corporate events. With her busy season just around the corner, she came to see us for a pair of prescription sunglasses! We styled her in this gorgeous handcrafted frame from Tejesta which was inspired by eyewear from the 1950s - a timeless classic suitable for any occasion.

Nikita regularly uses a tablet and laptop while she’s working; so, we recommended a non-polarized prescription sunglass lens for her. Polarizing filters, while fantastic for glare reduction, can affect the appearance of digital screens making it difficult to read from certain angles. Function and comfort were key factors for Nikita, and this option was the most suitable for her needs!
