Alex is currently dual licensed, as a Registered Denturist (RD) and a Registered Dental Technician (RDT) in BC. He began his career as a dental technician in 1976 in Winnipeg. As part of his studies, he successfully completed a four year government approved apprenticeship in cast partial removable oral prosthetics. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, Alex continued his studies in all aspects of dental technology, implant supported and retained removable prosthetics, precision attachments, denture fabrication, orthodontics, crown & bridge and multi-discipline case development.

As a Registered Dental Technician, Alex owned and operated a full service dental laboratory in Winnipeg for eleven years, serving a large dental clientele. In 1998, Alex was offered and accepted a teaching position in the Dental Technology Program at Vancouver Community College in the denture and cast partial segment of their program. The following year Alex attended the same institution in their two year Denturist diploma program. During his studies he was awarded the George A. Connolly scholarship award for highest achievement in denturism studies. Alex was awarded this scholarship for both years of study and became a Registered Denturist in 2002. In 2005 he was awarded the Denturist of the Year Award for contributions to the denturist industry. He was the founding editor/creator of the British Columbian Denturist Magazine and is a regular contributing writer in the Richmond News on patient dental education articles.

Alex maintains a relaxed and welcoming environment in his clinic which is centrally located in Richmond and is well known for his great service and friendly manner which all of his clients enjoy.
