Did you know seniors are more prone to dehydration and heat stroke?
Here are quick tips to keep you safe:

💧 Drink 8–10 cups of water daily – even if you don’t feel thirsty
🍉 Snack on hydrating foods like watermelon & cucumber
🕐 Stay indoors during 11 am–4 pm
👒 Wear light clothing, hats, and use fans or cool towels

🚨 Watch for Red Flags:

Confusion or sudden dizziness

Fainting

No sweating in extreme heat

Most insect bites and stings go away on their own—but some can signal a bigger problem. Don’t ignore these red flags:

🔴 Trouble breathing or swelling of lips/face → Possible anaphylaxis
🎯 Bullseye rash → Could be Lyme disease from a tick
🔥 Spreading redness, pus, or fever → Signs of infection
⏱️ No improvement after 48 hours or lasts > 7 days
🐝 Multiple or severe stings → Higher risk of reaction
