How do we do that?
I give you honest insight and practical advice and we set some realistic goals for your rehab.
We focus on organizing your muscles, getting you to build an awareness of how they should move and feel together.
Here’s an example:
I had a client in recovery with a hernia. His deadlifts were feeling really strong, but when I told him to activate his glutes, the strength wasn’t there. This means he was utilizing compensation elsewhere.
So, instead of simply telling him how to adjust, I showed him how to activate the muscles. We slowed right down and focused on small, manageable goals.
Sometimes in rehab, we have setbacks, and, if we want progress to be sustainable, it can be slow. It’s all about staying even.
Stay the course–stay consistent–keep making progress. You’ll get there in the end. 🌞
