You lie down tired.

But the mind keeps moving.
The body stays tense.
Sleep feels light.
You wake up drained.

Because sometimes the issue isn’t that you need more sleep.

It’s that your nervous system no longer knows how to switch off.

When the body stays in low-grade survival mode,
rest doesn’t always feel restorative.

This is why bedtime routines alone often aren’t enough.

The body has to relearn safety.
It has to relearn regulation.
It has to relearn how to let go.

That process starts long before your head hits the pillow.

It starts in the body.

Pain isn’t always a sign to stop.
And it’s not a sign to push through either.

Sometimes, you need professional help, especially if the pain is sharp, persistent, or limiting your daily movement.

That’s where working with a practitioner like matters.

But a lot of the time?

Pain is your body losing tolerance.
It doesn’t feel safe in certain positions anymore, so it tightens and restricts.

That’s where the right kind of movement comes in.

Not forcing.
