Bring this forward because of it's relevance soon!! Fall winds and chill evenings with warm days, horses don't drink enough. Be vigilant with salt after shows and everyday.

With this Freezing Snap to cross North America, please be sure to give extra salt to the horses to encourage water intake. More horses colic during cold and windy days than you think.
SALT, at least (1 oz/3 tablespoons) everyday is a must, not just hot weather.
