Presence is the state of be-ing somewhere.

When you receive an invitation that reads "Your presence is requested,” you are being asked to show up.

How often do we show up for ourselves?
What does this feel like?
Like, what does this really and deeply feel like?
Your vulnerable presence is requested at our Retreat Day.

Experience an opportunity to re-set, restore and revitalize as you offer yourself permission to slow down.

Your Day:
Experience integration of presence using mindfulness through creative exploration of art, time in nature, nourishing restorative yoga and through the community that comes with sharing food.
With an organic, unrushed flow, this exquisite day allows you to be taken care of with nourishing meals and drinks as we weave in creativity, movement and meaningful connection.

About your Facilitators:
Victoria Lynes: Founder of Soul Stones Studio, Victoria was inspired by her love of both natural stones - and the sacred circle - the Mandala.
Mandalas have a long, beautiful history and are recognized for their deep spiritual meaning. They are a representation of our inner reflection and our connection to the universe, and the circles of family, friends and community. The symbolism resonates deeply with me.

A yoga teacher, a children’s mindfulness educator, a mother, you can find out more about her here, scroll down to find out more about the experience this day!

Lisa is a Registered Massage Therapist who trained in British Columbia and brings nearly 16 years of clinical experience to her practice. She has a special interest in treating headaches, TMJ dysfunction, and supporting long-distance runners in maintaining and restoring their bodies.

Her approach to care is both therapeutic and collaborative. With a background in psychology (Carleton University), she brings an added understanding of the connection between stress, the nervous system, and physical tension.

She believes that while massage therapy can play an important role in healing, lasting change comes from a client’s active participation in their own well-being. She works alongside her clients—guiding, supporting, and creating space for the body to shift.

Lisa is particularly drawn to helping those who want to move through life with more ease, whether that means reducing pain, improving function, or returning to the activities they love.

She also has a growing interest in supporting first responders and others in high-stress roles, and is continuing her studies in Law Enforcement to better understand the unique physical and mental demands of this work.

Her goal is for clients to leave each session not only feeling better, but feeling more capable, empowered, and connected to their own bodies.

Outside of Willow, she enjoys volunteering, hiking, trail running, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. She also has a soft spot for dogs and looks forward to the day she welcomes one into her life again.

Curious how to say "Mādahòkì"? 🌿 It's not phonetically ma-da-ho-kee! Listen closely to the correct pronunciation on our website: https://madahoki.ca/about-the-farm.

In honour of National Indigenous Languages Day, we’re celebrating the beauty and importance of Indigenous languages. “Mādahòkì” means “to share the land” in Anishnaabe, a reflection of the spirit of community, culture, and connection that guides everything we do.

Come visit us at MādahòkÏ Farm Thursday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm, to experience the land, traditions, and culture that bring this name to life!
