In 2010, we lost Paramedic Unit Chief Jo-Ann Fuller and Ivan Polivka in the Line of Duty. Today, we remember them, their families and coworkers that they left behind, and we honour the sacrifice they made.

We’re calling on our friends, families, and neighbours to join us for a Solidarity Rally tomorrow at 12 noon in front of Municipal Hall. Together, we can send a clear message to Mayor and Council: do the hard work needed to negotiate a fair deal that gets workers back on the job and services back for residents.

Behind every uniform is a human being. Paramedics and dispatchers face pressures most people never see, and it’s okay to admit when it feels heavy. You don’t have to carry it all alone. The numbers aren't great. We see our members suffering and we won't stop until the numbers improve.
