Our mission is to provide quality, evidence-informed physiotherapy care with the highest standards of assessment, treatment and prevention of injuries one patient at a time. We will empower you to take charge of your body, move past injury and assist you to perform at your best on a daily basis. Let us help you achieve and maintain an active, balanced lifestyle so that you can keep moving. All treatments, consultations and workshops are individually tailored to meet your needs. Treatments are performed in a one to one setting in private treatment rooms. This means that you have the physiotherapist's undivided attention for the length of your session because you value your time and so do we. Maximizing on quality treatment time cuts down on repeated visits and you will be empowered to carry forth your program independently. One to one type of therapy is ideal for athletes of all levels, professionals, children and adolescents, post surgical patients, pre- and post-natal women, seniors who don't want to be rushed and anyone else who values focused time with their health professional. Each physiotherapist will have extensive post graduate training and experience in a variety of areas so that they will be well trained to treat you effectively. At Empower Physiotherapy, we take a hands-on approach to musculoskeletal injury and feel that a thorough assessment is vital in treating the cause rather than the symptom of any type of injury. Our treatment philosophy is based on exceptional assessment skills, manual therapy and tailored exercise. We look at the whole body when dealing with pain in the extremities because all parts of your body are connected. Our aim is to educate you and the community in a friendly and professional atmosphere.

Abarna Manoharan is an experienced physiotherapist with over 25 years of clinical practice, with a strong focus on pelvic health, women’s health, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. 💪

She brings a depth of experience from her many years working in the United Kingdom’s National Health Service, where she held senior clinical roles including Clinical Lead and Advanced Specialist Physiotherapist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.🙌

Abarna has extensive experience supporting individuals through pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy-related pain, postnatal recovery, and complex musculoskeletal conditions. 😀

She is skilled in internal pelvic assessment, biofeedback, and pilates-based rehabilitation, and she integrates evidence-informed practice with thoughtful, individualized care.
