Dr. McKay recently attended the 18th World Federation of Chiropractic Biennnial Congress 2025 (WFC 2025). The WFC 2025 was held on May 7-10, 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
This event featured the world's experts on health care, chiropractic care and research. Canada was well represented in many areas, especially in the research area. There were more than 130 Canadian chiropractors present at the WFC 2025. Dr. McKay is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) Indigenous Chiropractic Caucus (ICC) and was present for a presentation by Dr. Ayla Azad (CCA CEO) on DEI in Canada and how chiropractic care is provided to Indigenous communities in Canada.
The next WFC event is in 2027 and it is being held in Vancouver, BC. Dr. McKay will be involved in the planning process for 2027, especially with the ICC, focussing on more indigenous representation.
