We will be closed for the Labour Day holiday on Monday. LifeLabs will also be closed.

Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 2 with phones answered stating at 9:00am.

We will be closed for clinic wide IT upgrades on Friday and Saturday. The clinic will reopen for regular business hours on Monday, August 25.

LifeLabs will be open on Friday, August 22 for scheduled appointments and walk ins, available until 12pm.

OHIP COVERED SUBSTANCE USE SUPPORT

We have partnered with Recovery Care to provide stigma free, confidential and OHIP covered support for substance use. If you would like to find out more about this service please visit our website below.

Mental health needs are on the rise, and we have responded by bringing free mental health support from Western Ottawa Community Health Centre.

Free mental health support available!

Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre is at the Richmond Medical Clinic every Tuesday from 10:00am-5:00pm.

They offer FREE, confidential short-term counselling. You can either schedule an appointment ahead of time or walk in every Tuesday, 3:30pm-5:00pm.

If you are walking in, please let reception know you’d like to meet with Western Ottawa and we’ll take care of the rest!

Block Fee registration is now open!

Please note, block fee plans run from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026.

The Annual Block Fee plan is an option available to active patients of the Richmond Medical Clinic, meant to offset the cost of fees not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). Please refer to the FAQ below for more information.

LifeLabs UPDATE - NOW OPEN

LifeLabs has been able to staff our location today! A technician has just arrived and is able to take any walk ins until 12pm today. We are reaching out to any patients whose appointments were cancelled today. We apologize for any inconvenience our patients have experienced as a result today!

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected emergency the LifeLabs on site will be closed today. We are reaching out to patients to cancel any scheduled appointments. If you have not heard from us yet, your appointment for today is cancelled but we will be in touch shortly to reschedule you.
