PERFORMANCE EQUINE THERAPY

Specializing in keeping performance horses feeling their best so they can perform their best! I was lucky enough to grow up with and care for copious amounts of thoroughbred chuckwagon horses, and it allowed me to work with many top Veterinarians and equine body workers of all types to keep our horses feeling their absolute best over the years. I started my journey working on horses in the spring of 2010 when I attended Equine Therapy School in B.C. Before we dive in any further into what a session looks like for your horse, I want to make one thing clear....

I am not a veterinarian; I do not diagnose or treat lameness or issues in your horse. When your horse needs a vet, please take your horse to one and get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. I am complimentary to proper vet care; I will work to keep your horses body aligned and feeling the best that I can! A session usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour per horse, it really is dependent on what exactly your horse has going on in their body. I like to release stress points, massage and then do adjustments, followed with any energy work that the horse may need to remove blocks. I have found this order to usually be most efficient in my practice. I usually start at the head by checking tongue points (hyoid bone) and do energy point adjustments, most horses find this very relaxing and receive big releases. I then continue through the body....

- TMJ (jaw)
- Atlas, Axis, C-3 to C-5 (neck)
- 1st rib
- Shoulders & Ulna (Elbow)
- Thoracic (wither, rib area, lumbar)
- Ribs
- Pelvis
- Femurs & Stifles
- Sacrum & Tail bones

While one treatment is usually very beneficial and we see instant results, a follow up session may be needed. It truly is dependent upon your horse and what their body needs as to how many treatments they need and in what amount of time. Book Your Horses in by calling or texting ~ 7.8.0–3.6.1–6.8.5.5
