Thank you Mr. Energy Presentations for a wonderful afternoon and evening.
Well, here we all are at the lovely Willow and Wren Micro intimate farm venue outside Ripley. The Kincardine, Ripley and other local mental health advocates were simply awesome. Prior to the event, the free ice cream mingle , the campfire and pizza, and watching young Eric the Yoga teacher bust a move really prepared me . I listened , I heard their local story's , the very, very difficult mental healthy story's in the area. While not wanting to be political I heard about the Government cuts creating huge distress among teachers, social workers, youth workers, PSW's, family's and more. This was not complaining, this was there reality. Now, I did get to play music and dance. I did get to tell my lived story, what an honour, everyone in the room has a story, I did get to talk about my family, my inner and outer support group an all the wellness activities as part of my wellness action plan and that everyone needs one. HOWEVER, as I moved around the table ( I did not get permission to use their names ) there were young, middle and older age participants who are doing " miracles of work " in their communities in the area of Mental Health. It is an epidemic getting worse you know. Their positive energy and actual programs GAVE ME more hope and I am a big hope guy. I think the goats, chickens, sheep and I think a cow must have loved it as I heard a big moo at the end. Thanks Cathy and your entire life loving group. Mr. Energy
