It's Nurse's Week and we have two amazing ladies who fill the roll of nurse at Grass Home. They are compassionate, hardworking, caring and kind. They are good listeners and dedicated to not only our residents but also to our families and staff. They care for us all. Thank you Lynn and Olivia for all you do. We appreciate you everyday but it's nice to have a special day to recognize your dedication!

Joanne volunteers at Grass Home a few days a week in our dining room. She is a hard worker, loves a good joke and loves presents! Lynn and John brought her a beautiful bracelet back from their last vacation and Joanne was absolutely thrilled!

Our Mother's Day tea party turned into a dance party thanks to Cheryl and Bill. What a fun afternoon filled with such joy! There was so much energy in our diningroom!

We had a great afternoon with students from Riverview High School yesterday. They moved soil to our back courtyard as we prepare for gardening season then came inside to enjoy visits with our residents. We certainly appreciate their help and the time they share with us!

Shawn and Rudy came to visit us this morning. We always enjoy Rudy's tricks! We can't wait to see them again next month.

We put on our fancy hats and had a great time at the Grass Home Kentucky Derby! We played some trivia, placed our chocolate bets on the horses we thought would win then the races were underway! Connie and Isabelle took the lead and were unstoppable! Thanks to the staff for joining in the fun. Our residents loved the competition you brought as well as the laughter!
