It is with sadness that we share Betty's passing. Betty was a presence at Grass Home as she was a social lady who loved a good laugh. She enjoyed music, crafts and social time. She had a sparkle in her eye and always had a smile on her face. She loved our Community Bingo games as she loved giving to those less fortunate and the community connection these games provided. Betty certainly will be missed at Grass Home, and our condolences go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.

This lovely lady spent many hours making this beautiful quilt for Stephanie. She did it all by hand and used teapot decorations we had up for our Mothers Day Tea Party for a pattern. What a labour of love that will be cherished. Thank you, Dorothy! You are one very special lady.

Mrs Love was back yesterday for a visit with another class. She has one class visiting each Thursday afternoon and one class visiting once a month until a special visit for Christmas. What a wonderful way for our seniors to spend an afternoon. They really enjoyed sharing stories of their past with this class as well as playing games, coloring and chatting.

It is with great sadness that we share Jim's passing. Jim was loved by everyone at Grass Home. He had a twinkle in his eye and always wanted to be where the action was. You could hear, "Hey, Love" as you walked by Jim. He always wanted to know what was going on next. He loved sharing stories of his sailing days and he enjoyed sharing a good laugh. He loved our musical entertainment and he looked so forward to Pastor Tim's weekly visits. Our condolences go out to Jim's family and friends during this difficult time.

School is in and our student visits have begun! Our residents enjoyed meeting this semester's students. We are going to have a great year getting to know these youth. They bring such joy to Grass Home!

Our kitchen gal has been on vacation and Debbie stepped into the role. It's not easy cooking for a crowd and she did a great job. Thank you for your hard work, Debbie. We are so lucky to have you on our team! We appreciate you!
