ne who will listen! I have been a registered social worker since 2007 and I love my social work career. I have worked with vulnerable families, children, and individuals for 17 years and consider it a great honor to support people in their hardest times. I am also a Usui Reiki Master and have held space for healing in this capacity since 2010. In all of my roles, being of service to help others on their journey has been the utmost privilege. Whether it be via healing sessions, my various roles as a registered social worker, or sharing space; to be of service to others, is the most sacred thing to my soul, and it fills me with the utmost honor and joy. I hold in deep reverence my connection to the human body, spirit and the unseen forces that guide me. BCST offered my body the chance to enter a state of self-regulation, a place of rest where I could connect deeply to myself and the innate wisdom of my body. BCST changed my life and with every session, my body softened and opened as I was no longer trying to force anything to happen. I started allowing. I started listening. I began a new relationship with my body and the health of my body. BCST offered me a felt-sense experience of the health in my body; to come to know health and to know health was always present in my body, it has never left me and is waits patiently for me to return to its wisdom. BCST is a holistic way to view and support the body. In all my years of symptoms, no one ever asked me what was working well in my body, what felt good or healthy in my body. No one offered the concept of health; it was all about what was not working, obtaining a diagnosis and how to get rid of the symptoms. In a world focused on symptomology, pain, and illness, I find it refreshing to focus on health, to trust the sensations of health in the body more than the pain in the body. These concepts challenge and break down the current ideologies and frameworks that our society is built on. Can we turn towards our health? Can we acknowledge the pain in our body and also discover the health too? May we not dismiss our pain and our suffering but also, begin to know health as an innate part of the body. It was not until I was offered the opportunity to come into relationship with the health of my body did my symptoms start to ease. It is my deepest honor and intention to offer individuals the same opportunity to come to know their body in a new way, to come to know the wisdom and health of their own unique system. Perhaps, finding a bit of comfort to recognize, all is not lost, you are not broken, your body is not your enemy, and you too can find some ease, comfort, and healing from the things that cause you pain.

✨As I approach the one year anniversary of my mom’s death, I have been reflective of the past year.

✨This past year has been a reckoning, rather grief has been a reckoning. Grief has brought to light all the dark crevices I’ve held within for a very long time. Grief has been an invitation to dig deep, to be with what is.

✨Friendships that I thought were forever have slowly faded away, while new unexpected relationships have formed. I grieved the old and have allowed the new to take form.

✨Grief is sometimes a lonely road, a quiet space that echos loudly, but it also offered the most profound connections.

✨I have grieved the physical loss of my mom, and also grieved what could have been, what might have been, and what could never have been.

✨I have spent the last year also tending to my little family. Focusing on our physical health and our very tender hearts.

✨While I had hoped to be busy growing my business this past year, instead I was busy tending to my heart and to the little child within.

✨I’ve had a tremendous amount of support to do my own work so I can then hold space for others in a way that feels ethical and in integrity for me.

✨I am incredibly grateful for everything this past year; the lessons, healing, the endings, and the new beginnings.

✨And, come September our lives will change again as we start a new routine, a new school, and brand new schedules. My schedule for craniosacral will change too but I’m just not too sure how, just yet.

✨I will be away until August 12, 2025, and look forward to connecting soon.

✨Healing is not a quick fix. It is not a one size fits all. It is not a linear process.

✨ It is a remembering. It is a homecoming. It is a connection to your wholeness. It is a felt sense experience of health. It is a return to what has always been. It is a remembering of the innate intelligence within us. It is a commitment and a choice to create a relationship with your body and the sensations it expresses.

✨Healing beings when we listen. When we attune to the innate wisdom within. When we stop trying to change things and come into relationship with what is.

✨ In biodynamic craniosacral therapy we assist the body’s natural capacity for healing through gentle touch and listening.

✨ A BCST therapist listens, and reflects without judgment. They are present, curious, resourced, mindful, and attuned to the whole being on the table.

✨ Listening creates safety that then supports healing.

Do you have a desire to come into a deeper relationship with your body? To connect with the innate healing of your own system?

How would it feel to know your body is not broken? To have an experience of the health in your own body?

The body knows how to heal and it is always moving towards health, it is designed this way. The body is always working for us but sometimes it needs a gentle reminder of its potential to do so.

BCST offers a gentle invitation for the body to release tension, stress, and trauma in the body. BCST supports the body to enter into a parasympathetic state and this is where healing happens. BCST offers an opportunity to remember the health and wellness of your own body.

Curious? DM to chat or book.

It’s been awhile. I’ll share about my journey as of late in another post but wanted to speak to something that’s been on my mind.

I’ve had the privilege to sit in some craniosacral sessions again as of lately and wanted to speak to the concept of the inherent treatment plan in biodynamic craniosacral therapy.

The inherent treatment plan describes the natural order of the healing process. The inherent treatment plan is a decision made by the breath of life and emerges during a session; it is not imposed or forced by the client or practitioner.

What this means to me is that we come back to trusting the intrinsic wisdom and intelligence of the body. Over and over again.

We don’t use force and we don’t impose. We don’t have an agenda and we don’t follow a fixed protocol. We do not assume we know what a client should be feeling.

As a practitioner what we do do, is slow down, wait, listen, and trust. We sense and follow the clients physiology, as the body naturally seeks resolution.

When we support the body’s inherent treatment plan, it can reorganize, release, and return to balance, all without force.

We often have to get out of our own way. We get out of the thinking brain and into the feeling body. We seek to learn and be guided by the inherent treatment plan. We are not listening for symptoms, however we are curious where we can sense the health in the body.

We become the student and the body is the teacher.

May this new day meet you gently—
with light that warms,
with quiet moments that surprise you with peace,
and with just enough wonder
to remind you that life is still sacred.
May you walk it with a soft heart,
open hands,
and the knowing that you are held
by something greater than worry.
