I know that personally reiki helps me with both knee pain and anxiety so I'm glad there are PubMed studies being published backing that up, for the doubters :)

I don't really talk too much about my medical/doctor induced harm on here but I do want to say that I hit a milestone in April. After more than 2 years off of a medication that took me over 3 years to wean off of, finally the akathisia (condition where you can have brutal mental panic) has eased off.
And since then my "senses" have really come alive more. Animal communication is definitely better. I just know the answer right away. I mean I haven't had time to practice much as I I've been working, but for the small things I've asked (mostly asking horses where they lost their fly masks) I'm getting instant clear answers with an overwhelming feeling that what I was getting was accurate and that was proven when those fly masks were exactly where I saw/felt they would be.

To me it proves two things.
1.....Medication can dull your senses, along with your connection to your intuition/higher self, making connection to your gifts more difficult
2.... Once you get off those medications you CAN heal. You can heal your body, mind and spirit!!! And WONDERful things can happen.

I've been having more and more improvements the longer I'm off antidepressants and finally feeling more like myself after almost 2.5 years off a slow taper from Effexor.

My second short. Yup I'm in my robe. It's my day off and I embrace comfort when I can.

I figured out how to change the image that comes up when you post a video. A bit at a time I'll get there. I will not allow this venture to be stressful!!

I'm doing it for everyone but for me also, to share all the learnings from the dark nights of the soul ...yes most of us have many. I don't love that lingo but that is definitely how it feels.

I have a lot to learn about YouTube and it seems to have rules about what you can do when (only shorts for the first 50 videos I think it said and I'm not sure if I can edit anything yet...ugh)

But I finally did my first video.

I'm sure it will be way better than FB live once I know how to use it properly.

(Facebooks "tip" is to ask followers to share videos but I'm just happy that I started this and will hopefully learn quickly to make them better and to get the image it uses to be much more of an attractive image... lol...not one where I was brushing away a bug from my face...but it's "real" at least)

Wow!!! Is this year ever flying by. How are you all navigating the energies?
Are you feeling the collective upheaval of the planet?
Are you managing to mostly just let it pass through you and find your peace and joy?
I've been grounding when I can and finding joy in the small things.
This year the birds seem to be my guides. My property has more bird nests than ever and there is a constant chatter of baby birds and fledglings.

I've had a bit of a health breakthrough in April (recovering from being poisoned by pharma) and the akathisia (basically put me in a constant state of panic) has finally loosened it's grip on my poor brain and I feel I'll be able to move ahead with some healing services when my summer seasonal job ends in October
Before then I hope to start creating YouTube videos with info that I would like to share. (Seeing as FB lives are going away I'll post links to YouTube videos here instead)

This photo shows one of my sources of pure unadulterated joy. It was the first time my little grandson fell asleep on me.

The Schumann energies, solar flares etc effect me quite a bit some days. I'm not sure if everyone being attuned to reiki feels more attuned to those energies but I found this extremely interesting to read about.

How did you use reiki today?
I just used reiki on my naughty 8 year pup who decided she would help herself to supper and now isn't feeling too great.
Yesterday I used reiki to help get some farm chores done safely on my own (I usually have help with the heavy stuff).
I'm also sending reiki to the weather with intention that we don't get too much snow and everyone I love and care about will be safe if they are having to travel to work etc in the weather.

I taught level 1 reiki yesterday to three lovely ladies. Just so happened that the class was held within a kilometer of where mom was laid to rest in April.
During the ocean of holy love meditation, after leading the group through the guided part of the meditation, I let myself go to the ocean of holy love, sitting against the log watching the ocean. I thought of the words "holy love" and an image of my mother playing with my grandson on the beach appeared in front of me.
Mom was older but physically able (she had not been mobile and her memory was almost wiped out before my grandson was born. He met her but she wasn't terribly aware) and my grandson looked maybe a year older than he is now.
Needless to say tears came easily. It was a beautiful sight.
That is the kind of thing that happens when you get like minded people together learning about energy and healing.

I don't have time to get to the beach on my lunch break so I'm sitting on a rock by my favourite trees. One foot on a root and hoping it will ground me. After these intense energies I really need some grounding.
