Today is World Water Day—a perfect time to pause and think about how water affects us in more ways than we often realize. After a massage, drinking water helps flush toxins and supports muscle recovery. But water is also known as an energy cleanser. Whether you’re sitting in it, showering, swimming, or even just gazing at it (i.e. ocean viewing), water has a remarkable ability to cleanse and rejuvenate the soul. 💧
As we take care of our bodies, let’s also be mindful of how we care for this precious resource. Small changes and being intentional with how we work with and use water can make a big difference for both ourselves and the planet. 🌱💦

🐔 It's sounds odd, but we have something in common with chickens! 🤔

Ever noticed that thin, silvery layer just beneath chicken skin? In case you haven't heard - it’s fascia! And guess what? We have it too—all over our bodies.

Fascia is a vast, connective web that surrounds and supports everything inside us—muscles, fibers, organs, and more. It helps us move smoothly, but when it tightens, it can cause stiffness, pain and tension.
Fascia is always rebuilding, especially in areas that work too much and too little, creating knots that pull on muscles and cause discomfort. But it doesn’t just store physical tension—it holds emotional energy too. This is why releasing fascial restrictions through massage can be so powerful—it helps the body and mind let go.

OH How juicy does this scapula work look? I need this done to me! Our scapulas are SO SPECIAL! They do so many things for us. This was one of the most intensive bone pieces we learned in school. Here’s a sneak peek of how I use my forearms and elbows to work deeply without overloading my hands. This is important as it allows me practice massage for longer periods with more energy, keeping the sessions comfortable and effective for both of us!

This can also be a great way to address multiple areas of the body simultaneously and follow the fascial trains effectively- ensuring full connectivity and reminding the body that it is all connected.
