🎉CIFEO a 5 ans !!
Le CIFEO a débuté l'offre de ses services en juin 2020, en pleine pandémie, avec la mission de pallier le manque de services importants en santé mentale dans l'Est ontarien et particulièrement en français.
5 ans plus t**d, CIFEO a contribué à soutenir la population de différentes façons. Voici quelques moments clés :
⭐Notre équipe contient maintenant une quinzaine de professionnels offrant des services de qualité en psychologie, psychothérapie, travail social, orthophonie et ergothérapie. Nous accueillons chaque année entre 3 et 4 étudiants doctoraux faisant leur stage en psychologie clinique en plus d'avoir une équipe de psychométricien.nes, bénévoles et coordonnatrices de services cliniques, qui sont tous.tes dévoué.e.s et compétent.e.s. en plus d'avoir à coeur la mission du CIFEO. D'autres professionnels joindront l'équipe dans les prochains mois afin de renforcer les capacités des services offerts ainsi que les optimiser.
⭐Nous avons offerts près de 12 250 séances !!!
⭐Plusieurs partenariats communautaires ont été développées dans l'Est ontarien et plusieurs se développent dans l'Outaouais.
⭐En mai 2024, un deuxième centre a ouvert ses portes à Casselman afin d'étendre les services dans l'Est ontarien.
⭐En décembre 2024, un troisième centre a ouvert ses portes à Gatineau afin d'être plus prêt des milieux universitaires permettant des stages doctoraux cliniques. Les démarches légales ont permis de reconnaître ce centre dorénavant comme le Centre interdisciplinaire familial de l'Outaouais.
⭐En avril 2024, Le CIFEO a été octroyé une subvention de 192 500$ du Programme ontarien des services en matière d'autisme du Ministère des services à l'Enfance et des Services sociaux et communautaires. Cette subvention a permis de soutenir une cinquantaine d'enfants/adolescents autistes en leur offrant des services gratuits en psychologie, orthophonie et ergothérapie. Cette subvention a permis de développer le Programme d'autisme de l'Est ontarien.
⭐En juin 2024, le CIFEO a gagné la Bourse Sparks de Desjardins afin de reconnaître les jeunes entrepreneurs à succès.
⭐CIFEO a co-développé Propsychnet qui est une plate-forme numérique permettant la formation continue des professionnels en santé mentale au Canada ainsi qu'une autre plate-forme numérique permettant de vulgariser de l'information en santé mentale pour les public. Depuis les derniers mois, Propsychnet a développé un partenariat avec la Société canadienne de psychologie et quelques conseils scolaires.
👉En souhaitant que cette mission pourra se poursuivre pour un autre 5 ans en continuant d'offrir des services en santé mentale et apprentissages à la population de l'Est ontarien et l'Outaouais ainsi que les environs.

🎉IFCEO is 5 years old!!
IFCEO began offering its services in June 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, with the mission of alleviating the lack of important mental health services in Eastern Ontario, and particularly in French.
5 years later, IFCEO has helped support the population in a variety of ways. Here are a few key moments:
⭐Our team now contains more than 15 professionals offering quality services in psychology, psychotherapy, social work, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. Each year, we welcome 3 to 4 doctoral students doing their practicum in clinical psychology, as well as a team of psychometrists, volunteers, and clinical services coordinators, all of whom are dedicated, competent, and committed to IFCEO's mission. Other professionals will be joining the team in the coming months to strengthen the capacity of the services offered as well as optimize them.
⭐We offered nearly 12 250 sessions!!!
⭐Several community partnerships have been developed in Eastern Ontario and several are developing in the Outaouais.
⭐In May 2024, a second centre opened in Casselman to expand services in Eastern Ontario.
⭐In December 2024, a third centre opened its doors in Gatineau to be closer to university settings allowing clinical doctoral internships. Legal steps have led to this center now being recognized as the Interdisciplinary Family Centre of Outaouais.
⭐In April 2024, IFCEO was awarded a $192,500 grant from the Ontario Autism Services Program of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. This grant enabled us to support some 50 children/adolescents with autism by providing them with free psychological, speech-language, and occupational therapy services. This grant helped develop the Autism Program of Eastern Ontario.
⭐In June 2024, IFCEO won the Desjardins Sparks Scholarship to recognize successful young entrepreneurs.
⭐IFCEO co-developed Propsychnet, a digital platform for the continuing education of mental health professionals in Canada, as well as another digital platform for popularizing mental health information for the public. In recent months, Propsychnet has developed a partnership with the Canadian Psychological Association and a number of school boards.
👉 We hope that this mission will continue for another 5 years, offering mental health and learning services to the population of Eastern Ontario, the Outaouais region as well as surrounding areas.
