On the weekend, I noticed a couple of trees beginning to change colour. Trees under a little stress will often shift earlier than the rest. As I found myself clinging to summer, I couldn’t help but reflect on this.
Our bodies are no different. Just like the trees, we can be deeply affected by our environment and the stresses of every day life. This summer has been hot, humid, and dry — not the easiest conditions for growth. Sometimes we can’t control what’s going on around us, but we can choose how we nurture ourselves back into balance and good health.
This morning, take a moment and ask yourself:
✨ What stresses am I holding onto that are creating imbalance in my body?
✨ What is truly out of my control?
✨ How can I begin my week feeling lighter and more whole?
Imbalance can show up in so many ways — exhaustion, anxiety, sore muscles or joints, headaches, or even just feeling “off.” But remember: needing extra care doesn’t mean you’re broken. There is still beauty, growth, and transformation happening, even in the hard days.
Take a moment today to connect with your body. What does it need to release? What does it need to restore?
My personal goal this week: a little less ice cream,🍦 a little more walking, 🚶and a lot more relaxing and enjoying what is left of this summer.🩷
