Wrapping up day program until the new year, the participants celebrated their gift exchange they gave each other gifts, and did karaoke. Lots of fun and surprises.

We are hiring!

Wheatland Regional Centre Inc. is currently seeking a permanent, part-time(20hrs/week) Maintenance Worker for our centre and three homes. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment and grounds.

The successful candidate must provide a satisfactory criminal record check and have a valid driver’s licence.

Thanks again to these students for their help! The job they initially volunteered for ended up being more tedious and time consuming than anyone expected and they were real troopers! We appreciate it.

Our annual participants Christmas party was a huge success tonight.
Thank you to all the guests, near and far, that attended, Glen Adair for his great, dance-til- you - drop tunes, our amazing day program team who entertained us with a surprise video, the fantastic food from our caterers, to Lorne, Clarke and LA for saying grace, our board members ( especially John Fehr for all his time and contributions to the evening) and Santa, who took time out of his busy schedule to make a special appearance!

Support Staff assist participants with personal care, life skills training, recreational, and social needs.

Our goal is to create inclusive, person-centered environments where individuals can thrive with dignity, purpose, and opportunity.

The successful candidate must provide a satisfactory criminal record check as a condition of employment. Valid Drivers license preferred.
