This spring, I decided I'd like to get back into running, and needed my strength workouts to support that goal rather than compete against it.
In the spirit of not overthinking things, I grabbed the Strength for Runners program I put together several years back. It's simple - designed to be done at any fitness level and with minimal equipment - but I can still choose weights that make it challenging for me (as someone who's been training over 14 years).
Two weeks in, and my runs are already feeling a little easier... although I'd love to get off the treadmill and onto the grid roads if the weather would cooperate 🌞.
