To my fellow HSPs… I’m sharing my new FAVOURITE thing. ✨

My family teases me because I’m always turning the bathroom lights wayyy down when I do my nighttime routine. To the point that nobody can tell whose toothbrush is whose. 😂 But honestly… can you relate?

Does anyone else feel personally attacked when someone flips on the full overhead light at 10 pm when you’re sleepy and winding down for bed? Because for me, it feels like my nervous system gets blasted awake.

So when I found this little waterproof lamp, I became obsessed. 💛

You can bring it right into the shower and instantly turn your bathroom into this warm, glowy cocoon space. The other night, after all my boys were asleep, I carried it around the house like a little lantern while I did my physio exercises. It felt so calming and grounding… like a tiny act of care for my sensitive nervous system.

I think being an HSP often means we’re deeply affected by our environments — lighting, sound, texture, energy, all of it. And sometimes the smallest adjustments can feel incredibly regulating and nourishing.

So this is your reminder that tending to your nervous system matters. Cozy lighting counts. Little rituals count. Softness counts. ✨

And when I find little things that genuinely support me, I love sharing them with my fellow sensitive humans. 💛

Also… keep your eyes peeled for details about our upcoming Open House 👀 There will be a gift basket giveaway that includes this cozy little light. ✨

Learning about being a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) has been incredibly validating and liberating for me.

I’ve always known that I was sensitive, but understanding this through a nervous system lens has helped me make sense of myself in a much deeper way.

I’ve come to understand that I process on many levels simultaneously – emotions, energy, tone, tension, sound, light, facial expressions, dynamics in a room, multiple demands at once. And because of that, the world can sometimes feel very loud and taxing.

What’s been empowering is learning that this isn’t a flaw or weakness. It’s simply the way my nervous system is wired.

Overtime I’ve learned how important it is to care for myself differently – through boundaries, rest, slowing down, nervous system support, and honouring the fact that my limits and thresholds may look different than someone else’s.

This understanding has become such an important part of my healing, self compassion, and identity.

And because of that I’m feeling increasingly passionate about supporting others in this role as well.

I’m hoping to work more with Highly Sensitive People – especially those who are emotionally intelligent, deeply caring, prone to people-pleasing, overstimulation, overthinking, and difficulty setting boundaries.

I’ll be sharing more content here around:

✨Highly sensitive people.
✨Nervous system health.
✨People pleasing.
✨Boundaries.
✨Emotional well-being & healing.

And I’m also exploring offering group support, both in-person and on-line, around these themes.

If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you – feel free to comment below or reach out privately. 🤍
