Big news, friends: I bought my dream home to house my psychological practice. 💛
From the moment I saw the listing, I felt a full-body YES (craziest manifestation story to come…). Built in 1915—the same year as my childhood home—with a dining room painted the very same sun-washed yellow. Hardwood floors. Tall ceilings. A welcoming front porch. And room for mindfulness groups, breathwork, yoga, and outreach/workshops. It feels safe, warm, and like HOME—a space where people can come to heal, and where I can fully flourish as a psychologist, bringing psychology together with holistic approaches for our community.
With deep gratitude, thank you to Rheanne and Wes and the Smellie Block Building for being such a beautiful home to my practice for the past six years. You have been so accommodating and hospitable. That space has held meaningful, life-changing work—hundreds of clients, four practicum student therapists, and, more recently, the powerful offerings Jenny, Alexis, and Arielle have shared with individuals and groups. I’m profoundly grateful for all it has gifted us.
Thank you to my husband, Nate, for championing me, believing in me, and encouraging me to take up space and step fully into myself as a psychologist and a woman. To my boys—thank you for cheering me on and seeing me as a multi-dimentional person with business-dreams and passion.
To my friends in Kentucky and here in Manitoba— thank you for every cheer from Zoom calls, patio lunches, retreat heart-to-hearts, singing practices, text messages, and coffee shops. And to my family of origin in Kentucky: your unwavering support has been my secure base. We’re tied by an invisible string, always, and I carry you with me into this next chapter.
More details (and that wild manifestation story!) soon. 🏡✨
