It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Emilienne (Emily) Anna (Richard) LeBlanc on September 14, 2025, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital in Sackville New Brunswick. Emily passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years, after a short illness, with her two daughters by her side.

In keeping with Emily’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A service will be held at the graveside in the Holy Rosary/St. Vincent's Catholic Cemetery Middle Sackville, NB on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 2 pm with Father Damian Nwachukwu officaiting.

The family wishes to send a heartful thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Sackville Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care and the kindness shown to Emily and family during this trying time.

In memory of Emily, donations would be appreciated and can be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Holy Rosary St. Vincent’s Cemetery in Middle Sackville, NB, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.

A life well lived.

Jean Lillian Rawlins (Priddell) passed away at the grand old age of 97 with family by her side.

The family would like to thank the many staff members who cared so much for her at the Drew Nursing Home in her final years. Her ashes will join those of her husband’s in the cemetery with other family members in Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Erin Campbell and staff at Cambell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506) 364-8188. Friends are welcome to a celebration of life on Saturday, September 20th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Campbell's Funeral Home.

She was the best.

After a short and very courageous battle with cancer- we announce the passing of our dad, Wade Douglas “Wally” Hart on Tuesday September 9, 2025.

Per dad’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home however he wished for a graveside service – open to those who want to attend, at the Rockport Cemetery on Friday, September 12, 2025. In true dad fashion, BYOC (bring your own chair). For those who would like to follow in procession, please meet at 12:45pm at Campbell’s Funeral Home for departure at 1 pm for the Rockport Cemetery. Following the burial, a Celebration of Life will take place at the Sackville Legion at 4pm and all are welcome to attend. We encourage as many as possible to join us in a toast to “Wally”, share stories, hear some of dad’s favourite tunes, see some photos have a cold one/a rye and ginger and play some pool.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church or the Sackville Waterfowl Park Memorial Bench Program where we wish to have a bench placed in Dad’s name because as he said, “there are not enough benches”.

The next time you are sitting around a campfire with the ones you love, and the sky is clear with a beautiful moon and stars, know that the heavens are much brighter for one of those stars is a man who lived life with an abundance of joy, love, and laughter. He never once “let the old man in”, and for that, we are forever proud.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Donald Brian Patterson, age 65. “Donnie” passed away peacefully at his home on September 8th, following his courageous battle with cancer.

Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, William “Billy” Trenholme passed away with his loving children by his side.

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and brother, Lelard (Lee) Victor Estabrooks on August 31, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 2-4 pm. Interment and funeral will take place at a later date.

Thank you to everyone on the Brunswick Unit of the Sackville Hospital and a special thanks to Dr. Wall and nurses, Steve and Sandy in the palliative care unit.

It is with great sadness that the family of Veva Darlene (Hicks) Curwin announces her passing at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 29, 2025. Veva passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 78.

Visiting hours to celebrate Veva’s life will take place at Campbell’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 6-8 pm and all are invited to attend. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2 pm with Charis Holmes officiating. The burial will take place in the Westcock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Veva may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, IWK Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House or to the charity of one’s choice.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin (KDAWG) Johnston on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 26th. Kevin passed peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous fight against cancer.

It is with deep sadness that the family of Irene LeClair announces her passing on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Fort Folly First Nations Special Care Home. Irene was 87 years old.

In keeping with Irene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025 at St. Vincent’s Roman Catholic Church in Sackville, NB. Following the burial, a reception for family and friends will take place at Fort Folly First Nations Special Care Home at 10:30 am.
