I'm a philosopher at heart which means I've always been fascinated with understanding what's really going on beneath the surface of things. I think that's why I decided to be a Life Skills Coach over 18 years ago. This philosophical nature of mine ~ the part of me that absolutely needs to understand why things are the way they are ~ has been at the root of everything I've done over the last 25 years. Whether I was writing my best selling children's book series Bellwether's Message, delivering group workshops, working with individuals in private one-on-one counselling sessions, parenting my children, getting through the emotional turmoil of my divorce and the murder of my sister, and even taking a 3 year sabbatical to work in the oil patch, my goal has always been to use the challenges in my life to grow and evolve and to help others do the same. But one of the accomplishments I'm most proud of is co-creating The ADIGI Approach with my long-time friend Dana da Ponte. The ADIGI Approach is a problem solving counselling model that reveals and heals the hidden emotional issues driving the negative patterns we sometimes find ourselves in. My biggest passion is using The ADIGI Approach to help couples get to the root of the emotional challenges that prevent them from having the type of relationship they really want ~ one that is supportive, intimate, kind, nurturing, respectful and loving. Giving couples insight and tools that equip them with skills that actually change their relationship for the better is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I work with couples in private sessions and in a support group setting. In six coaching sessions I help couples understand why their relationship has broken down and I teach them how to fix it. By understanding how their unresolved emotional pain is impacting their relationship and learning how to communicate through those really difficult conversations, couples are able to build the relationship they really want - one that is supportive, loving, kind and emotionally connected. If you'd like to learn more about me and if I can be of assistance to you, please don't hesitate to contact me. I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation to make sure we're a good fit for each other. I'd love to hear from you.

I was nominated for the Corporate Live Wire Prestige Awards for Canada and was just notified that I was chosen as the 2020 winner in the category of Couple’s Counselling Service. 😊

The Corporate Live Wire Prestige Awards recognise small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months.

All shortlisted companies put forward in the prestige awards are asked to support their nomination with evidence of their work, positive feedback from their clients, information on previous accreditation and recognition as
well as highlighting the most outstanding parts of their
businesses.

The judging panel base their decisions upon areas such as service excellence, quality of the product/service provided, innovative practices, value, ethical or sustainable methods of working, as well as consistency in performance. The winners selected are those who can best demonstrate their strengths in these areas.

No problem is too big to solve if both people in the relationship have these two things.

1. Commitment: Both people are still committed to each other and to the relationship.

2. Willingness to deal with their broken bits: Both people have the ability to look within themselves and admit how they have contributed to the problems in the relationship.

If both people have both of those qualities, no problem is unfixable.

I've been asked to be one of the first people to offer my course, End the Arguing on a brand new platform based out of the UK. It is a platform that will connect Life Coaches with people wanting to improve their life. It's called Lifecoach and within 3 to 6 months their goal is to reach 28 countries with a subscription list of 12 million people.

I've been making the intention to find the perfect fit for my course and maybe this will be it! :)

During the lockdown, I filmed 11 videos - two introduction videos and 9 videos that introduce each lesson in the course.

Here's a link to my first video in case you'd like to check it out: https://youtu.be/a1EWS4nadyc
