We’ve got a lot to celebrate this week at KidStrong—because it’s SHOWCASE WEEK! 🥳

This is the moment our kids get to shine and show off all the skills they’ve been working on. We’re so proud of the growth we’ve witnessed over the course of this challenge—and we think you will be, too!

Over the last few weeks, our kids developed:

🌟 BRAVERY & GRIT. Pushing through challenges and finding the courage to keep going.
🌟 PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS. Thinking critically, working together and finding creative solutions.
🌟 ANATOMY KNOWLEDGE. Building body control and coordination.
🌟 ATHLETICISM. Improving strength, balance and movement.

Showcase Week is an opportunity to celebrate not just what these kids can do, but who they are becoming—strong, confident and resilient leaders. 🙌

Sports skills aren’t just about physical strength—they help kids develop mental skills, too.

Through athletic challenges, kids learn focus, patience and how to keep a positive mindset even when things get tough.

This week at KidStrong, we’re spotlighting how sports skills build mental strength and emotional regulation—key ingredients for confidence and leadership!

Our one-of-a-kind curriculum includes:

🤸 Balance and control exercises that sharpen focus and mind-body connection.
🎯 Goal-oriented activities that teach persistence.
🤝 Team challenges that build communication, empathy, and sportsmanship.

These lessons go way beyond the gym. From staying calm under pressure to bouncing back after a setback—the mindset kids build at KidStrong helps them thrive in sports, school and life!

St. Albert’s winter festival, The Snowflake Festival, is back for 2025 Taking place on Perron Street, St. Thomas Street and at St. Albert Place! Friday November 28th from 5:30-9pm.

KidStrong will be in St. Albert Community Hall for their famous Spin & Win while you wait to see Santa. You can also enter to win a KidStrong Party!

Join us in the heart of downtown St. Albert as we light up the Perron District with the warm glow of the Christmas lights. Enjoy all the festivities as we welcome the holiday season with our annual Snowflake Festival.

Members get to help choose the best of the best class challenges from this year—and shape the Greatest Hits Week programming that will run December 22-January 4.

Voting Details:

We will be OPEN for regular classes on Tuesday, November 11th. As our location does not usually have morning classes, this will not impact Members' ability to observe a moment of silence or attend our city's Remembrance Day Ceremony.

This Remembrance Day, we pause to say thank you. Thank you to the brave people who have served, protected and sacrificed for our freedom. It’s a day to remember their courage and to honour the strength they’ve passed on to future generations.

Let’s take a moment to reflect with our kids, to share stories and to remind them that bravery, kindness and resilience are qualities we can all carry forward. 🇨🇦❤️
