Connect Café: Palliative Care at Home 🏡
Join us for an honest and inspiring conversation about what it really takes to support someone’s wish to die at home.

💬Hear from a palliative homecare nurse about what to expect, how to access support, and how to prepare for end-of-life at home — including comfort measures and navigating the system.

💬…and a caregiver who honoured her husband’s wish to be at home at the end of life, made possible with help from the homecare palliative team, and SASHA’s Compassionate Care Volunteer Program.

Together, we’ll explore how families, healthcare professionals, and volunteers can come together to provide comfort, dignity, and compassion at the end of life.

Working with families who have prepared a plan while they didn't have need is so beneficial and has a positive impact should they need to make decisions on behalf of there loved one. It provides opportunity to understand and gain clarity when they are not on the misdst of a crisis.

I feel so blessed to have been trained and mentored by Suzanne B O'Brien during my informative years as an End-of-Life Doula way back in 2017! I immediately gravitated to Suzanne's authenticity, wisdom, holistic approach and her comprehensive training. Each year Suzanne takes her program to new heights to transform how people prepare for and meet death. She is so passionate about her mission and purpose, she continues to provide free training and information sessions Doulagivers. https://doulagivers.com

I can't wait to read her new book called, "The Good Death Book"! I preordered my copy weeks ago from Amazon.ca and it should arrive on March 18th!
