Just wrapped up my latest course, my very first Sexual Attitude Reassessment (SAR). Every s*x therapist should do one of these every five years, and wow… what a powerful experience. Closed my laptop and noticed how my stickers say so much about the space I try to hold: affirming, curious, real. Also, they just look cool 😄✨

✨ What would it feel like to stop performing… and start being true to yourself?

So many of us have learned to shape-shift.
To be what others need.
To hide the mess, the softness, the truth.

Being your true self doesn’t come from being perfect.
It comes from being real, messy, honest, human.

Therapy can be a space to lay the performance down.
To explore who you are when you’re not proving, pleasing, or protecting.
To reconnect with your inner knowing and remember: you are enough, just as you are.

🖊️ What’s one story about yourself you’re ready to rewrite?

Maybe it's the one that says you're too much.
Or that you always mess things up.
Or that your needs don’t matter.

Therapy can be a space to gently unpack these stories.
To explore where they came from, and ask whether they still serve you.
To practice speaking to yourself with kindness, not criticism.

You don’t have to keep living by old narratives that no longer feel true.
You’re allowed to grow, to change, to reclaim your voice.

✨ In therapy, you get to explore who you are without judgment. You get to write a story that actually feels like yours.

✨ You don’t have to fit your love, your body, or your desires into anyone else’s mold.

Whether you’re exploring polyamory, kink, q***r intimacy, or just rewriting what connection means to you, you’re not broken. You’re brave.

You get to define your own version of intimacy. You get to ask for what you need. You get to build relationships rooted in truth, not tradition.

What would it feel like to give yourself permission to want what you want—without shame?

🖤 Your love is valid. Your needs are real. Your story deserves space.

🌀 Libido is influenced by so many things: STRESS, hormones, trauma, medication, sleep, safety, past relationships, cultural traditions and expectations.

If you're not satisfied with your libido and you wish you could talk about it, Harmony Tree Therapy is here for you.

So instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?”
Try asking:
💬 What do I need to feel safe? To feel s*xual? To feel wanted? To feel like myself?

This post isn’t about comparison - it’s about self-awareness, compassion, and opening up space for real, honest conversations.

It’s completely normal for partners to experience desire differently. What matters most isn’t matching perfectly but how you move through the difference with care.

This isn’t about being too much or not enough. It’s about creating space to be honest, kind, and curious. You can do that with each other or with the support of a therapist.

💬 What would it feel like to name your needs without shame?
You deserve a relationship where those conversations feel safe.

✨ If this is something you’re navigating, you're not alone. Let’s talk.

Let’s talk about loneliness.
This is me with my dogs, two little anchors of comfort and companionship in a world that sometimes feels disconnected.

As we get older, making friends or forming new relationships doesn’t always come as easily. Things don’t feel as organic as they once did. The spontaneous meetups, the ease of connection, even the chance to be truly seen can all feel a bit out of reach.

Whether you’re longing for romantic connection or a circle of deep, soul-nourishing friendships, you’re not alone. Loneliness doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you. It means you’re human, wired for connection, and aware of your own longing.

If this resonates, I see you. You're allowed to want more. You're allowed to name your loneliness without shame.

What is Gender Dysphoria?

Gender dysphoria is a term used to describe the emotional distress that can occur when someone’s gender identity doesn’t align with the s*x they were assigned at birth. It’s not about something being “wrong” with a person. It’s about the pain and discomfort that can come from living in a world that may not see or affirm your true self.

For some people, gender dysphoria might show up as a longing to change aspects of their body, discomfort with certain pronouns, or deep emotional pain related to being misgendered. For others, it may be more subtle, like a sense of disconnection, grief, or restlessness they can’t quite name.

Not everyone who is trans or gender-diverse experiences gender dysphoria. And not everyone who experiences it will take the same steps to feel more aligned. Transitioning can look many different ways, and all are valid.

If you're exploring your gender or supporting someone who is, know this: your feelings are real. You deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported in your body and your identity.

You're not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this without care. 💛

I work with a lot of individuals and couples who are navigating alternative s*xual lifestyles, and I want you to know you’re welcome here.

Whether you're exploring consensual non-monogamy, open relationships, swinging, B**M, D/s dynamics, kink, polyamory, pans*xuality, or something uniquely your own, this is a space where your identity and experiences are honoured without judgment.

My approach is grounded in support, curiosity, deep respect, and lived experience. You deserve a therapist who gets it and who walks beside you as you create the relationships and life that feel true to you.

What is bis*xual?

Bis*xuality is a valid and diverse s*xual orientation. A bis*xual person is someone who experiences attraction to more than one gender. This doesn’t always mean an equal or simultaneous attraction to all genders—just that gender isn’t a limiting factor in who they may love or desire.

💡 Some bi folks use the term to describe attraction to both similar and different genders. Others may also identify as pans*xual, q***r, or fluid. Language can be deeply personal, and it’s okay if definitions evolve over time.

📣 What matters most is that bis*xual people deserve the same respect, affirmation, and belonging as anyone else.

If you're exploring your own identity or want to better support someone who is, you’re not alone. You deserve a space where your questions are welcome and your truth is honored.

💌 Have questions or want to learn more? Feel free to reach out or drop them in the comments. Safe conversations start here.
