We are very happy to welcome Corrine, a Social Work student from Lakehead University, who will be completing her placement hours with us at Sandra’s Home Health Care Services.

Teaching matters. Mentorship matters. And investing time in students matters.

Our healthcare system depends on the next generation of professionals understanding what compassionate, real-world care looks like. It is not just theory. It is listening. Advocacy. Patience. And meeting people where they are—often during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

At SHHC, we believe learning happens best when students are exposed to the realities of community-based care, family dynamics, aging, dementia, and the importance of dignity at home. We are proud to be part of that learning journey.

This winter (January–March 31), we’re excited to invite our team, families, friends, and community to take part in something truly meaningful.
