Working with this international ball hockey player to get them ready for the 2022 Ball Hockey World Championships.

One of the benefits of acupuncture is specificity! Here we see a to working on this individuals hip. 4 needles, 4 different muscles…a lot more specific than a sticky pad!

Of course we can’t forget about how the glute muscles are at different depths which the needles can easily get to!

Although maybe not for everyone, acupuncture is a great treatment choice!

There are many contributors to elbow pain but if you look closely we can see one small (often forgotten) muscle that is being worked here…the anconeus! 💪🏻

Contributing to elbow extension, this muscle is important to assess and treat in avid athletes like you see here! 😲

While working on this patient’s hamstring we can appreciate the extent to which the treatment reaches! 🤔

It’s common knowledge the hamstring muscle group crosses the knee and we can see this as the whole muscle is twitching in this video! 💪🏻

Yes it is twitching above the knee BUT do you also see it twitching just below the knee as well?! 👀

Although not a knee complaint in this case, a great peril to remember when treating knee pain as well! 👍🏻
