✨ Therapist spotlight ✨ Meet the animal loving, warm, thoughtful, Andrea 🥰 Connect today for a free consultation with Andrea! Andrea has sliding scale space open for affordability!

Andrea gets how exhausting it can be to fight symptoms of anxiety and depression because she also lives through the ups and downs with mental health.
Andrea brings her lived experiences to her practice as a counsellor at Nova Phoenix, where she supports her clients in moving through difficult life changes, managing strained relationships, navigating symptoms of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, experiences of trauma, and addiction. Andrea is also experienced in supporting individuals with loved ones struggling with mental health and or addictions as they learn to connect, understand, communicate and set boundaries.

Andrea’s love of all things pink and sparkly got her the nickname “Social Work Barbie” at the local hospital where she works in the emergency department.
Andrea brings her clinical understanding of mental health, personality disorders, substance use, and experiences of trauma from the hospital to her counselling practice where she is able to help her clients gain a better understanding of their symptoms.
Andrea will walk along side you as you learn strategies to manage and cope with the parts of your situation that cannot be changed as well as empower you to feel prepared to make changes where possible.

Chag Urim Sameach

As the Jewish community marks Hanukkah, they do so with heavy hearts following the horrific antisemitic terror attack in Australia. We stand in solidarity with Jewish communities everywhere and unequivocally condemn hatred and violence in all its forms.

Wishing everyone celebrating Hanukkah a meaningful Festival of Lights. May this season bring strength, comfort, and hope, and may the light of Hanukkah remind us of the power of resilience, unity, and care for one another here in Hamilton and around the world.
