Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation is proud to thank the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138 Merritton for their generous donation of $5,412. This donation allowed for the purchase of a new patient ceiling lift.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138 Merritton joined us to see the impact of their gift, including Mr. Eric Jensen, a Canadian Armed Forces veteran and former United Nations peacekeeper who is currently completing his rehabilitation at Hotel Dieu Shaver. After a five-month stay, Mr. Jensen is preparing to return home this week and was able to experience firsthand the comfort and dignity that the new ceiling lift provides during patient transfers.

What a day! 🎉🩵 Last Friday, we came together with staff, retirees, volunteers, community partners, and friends to celebrate 20 years of care, hope, and healing at Hotel Dieu Shaver.

From great food and music to wonderful conversations and laughter, it was a beautiful reminder of the people and partnerships that have shaped our journey.
