The Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Clinic at HDS works with individuals whose speech and/or handwriting do not meet their needs in the traditional way. Our clinic provides alternative options for communication, as recommended by a Speech-Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist.

At Hotel Dieu Shaver, we love traditions! For as long as we can remember, our friend Denis Cahill has been photographing our annual staff photo every Fall!

This year, Denis captured the chaos of the photo coming together. We are a hospital, so we will never been able to capture our ENTIRE team in one photo, but we are so grateful for each & every staff & physician at HDS who work tirelessly to bring comfort, care, inspiration and restoration to our patients lives!
