Legacy Health would like to Introduce Teija (tay-ah) our newest Registered Massage Therapist. She is a graduate of The Ontario College of Health and Technology, Brock University, and MĀ Wellness & Yoga’s 200Hr YTT program in Victoria, BC. With a strong passion for movement and our connection to the natural world, she takes a holistic approach to health, meeting each client wherever they are on their wellness journey.

Teija integrates a variety of techniques—including Swedish massage, myofascial release, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, stretching, and remedial exercise—to support pain management, stress reduction, and improved strength and flexibility. She is a firm believer in cultivating balance within the body to promote long-term well-being.

Outside the clinic, Teija enjoys practicing mindfulness through yoga, hiking, running, biking, paddling, and other outdoor activities.

Ontario Street is reopening tomorrow!!!!!!!

Good news, City of St. Catharines! Ontario Street (Regional Road 42) from Linwell Road to Lakeport Road will be reopened to two-way traffic by end of day on Friday, Aug. 2.

Construction will be paused until approximately Aug. 26 for the World Rowing Championships. Following the event, construction will restart to complete the remainder of the restoration works, including asphalt paving. The road will remain open to two-way traffic, but expect daily lane closures.

Construction is expected to be done by the end of October 2024, pending weather.

We suggest taking Lake Street to Lakeport if travelling from Niagara Falls area, or taking Martindale through Port Dalhousie if coming from the Beamsville side! It's almost done, maybe!

Niagara Region could the businesses and locals get a bit more notice than 12 hours on Facebook??

Heads up City of St. Catharines!

We're paving the intersection of Ontario Street (RR42) and Linwell Road on May 1, weather permitting.

⚠️ Lane closures will be in effect. Expect delays and avoid the area if possible.

This work is set to finish before Ontario Street opens to one-way northbound traffic on May 6.

Dr. MacAulay has been practicing in Hamilton since she graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2010. Prior to her studies at CMCC, she graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2006. She recently moved to St. Catharines and has been enjoying exploring the local trails, cafes, and farmers market. She is excited to serve the health care needs of St. Catharines residents with her balanced approach of manual care and active rehabilitation.

She has attended several postgraduate courses, including Active Release Techniques, Graston Technique, and she is a graduate of the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program. She integrates all of these techniques into her practice to provide individualized, evidence-based care specific to her patients’ needs.
Dr. MacAulay believes in an active approach to healthcare and prevention. She enjoys helping her patients continue to do the activities they love by reducing pain, increasing function and preventing injury.

Dr. MacAulay is passionate about nature and you can often find her doing long distance hikes or runs on the Bruce Trail, cycling along the Welland Canal, or Equestrian riding at the barn where she is an avid volunteer for therapeutic riding at TEAD. She is a lifelong recreational athlete and learner, continuing to challenge herself with new sports and hobbies.
