We often mistake assertiveness for intimidation, or rest for laziness.

If you’ve been feeling like the world has been spinning a little faster lately, you aren’t alone in this feeling. 💞

It’s no secret that anxiety is feeling high for so many of us. 😰
We wanted to take a moment to remind you that your feelings are a valid response to a very loud world.
💭 When our minds are racing, our bodies often hold onto that tension before we even realize it.

To help you find a moment of calm, we’ve put together a few simple somatic release techniques to help ground your nervous system:
✨ Body Scanning: Close your eyes and slowly bring awareness to each part of your body, releasing tension from your brow down to your toes.
✨ The Butterfly Hug: Cross your arms over your chest and lighty tap your shoulders rhythmically to self-soothe.
✨ Humming: The vibration of a simple “mmm” can actually stimulate your vagus nerve and promote relaxation.
✨ Swaying: Gently rocking your body side-to-side mimics a natural calming reflex.

We often hear that we should “just push through,” but we believe the opposite: Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness. It takes great strength and vulnerability to recognize when you need a soft place to land.
