She is the principal registered psychotherapist and owner of Sherry Campbell Group offering personal, couples and family counselling services throughout the Niagara Region. The group has expanded to answer the call of corporate mental wellness with a full range of counselling, coaching, workshops and retreats for both employees and executives. As COVID 19 restrictions lift, she is available for IN PERSON presentations and workshops! We know this time of year is busy.
As we inch closer to a new year, we‘re offering this as an invitation, not a to-do list. 🫶🏼

Take some time and check in with yourself. 🫵🏼

We’re excited to welcome Adriana Csanadi to our team in the New Year!

Adriana brings with her several years experience working with children, youth, families, and adults from diverse backgrounds.

She is a Registered Social Worker, and has her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Waterloo.

Adriana provides a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment for clients to process their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.

With a belief in each individual’s capability to grow, Adriana uses this idea to support clients in discovering their own strengths, self-awareness, and their ability to build effective coping skills.

Adriana is trained in various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including; ✨ cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) ✨ dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)
✨ motivational interviewing (MI)
✨ acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
✨ su***de intervention (ASIST)

Her primary areas of focus are; substance use and addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, su***de intervention, stress management, and life transitions.
She also works at Niagara Health as an addiction worker.

PSA: it’s okay if the Holidays don‘t automatically feel joyful for you. 💙

The cold, dark winter months can bring beauty, and emotional heaviness.
Many people experience either a general dip in their mood, or are impacted more deeply by Seasonal Affective Disorder this time of year.

Your feelings, no matter what they are, deserve space and compassion.

Consider incorporating some of these gentle self-care tips this into your days this Winter.

❄️✨ Winter Blues & Seasonal Affective Disorder ✨❄️

As the days grow shorter, many of us a feel a dip in our mood and/or energy levels. A common experience, often referred to as the “winter blues”. 💙

But for some, these seasonal shifts run much deeper.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a form of depression that follows a seasonal pattern. It brings more intense and persistent changes in mood, sleep, motivation, and daily functioning.

Winter Blues vs. SAD
Winter blues are milder, temporary sluggishness or low mood that eases with light, rest, connection and changes to routine.

SAD - Symptoms are stronger, longer-lasting, and interfere with daily life. Often times, SAD requires professional support.

No matter where you find yourself this season, you don’t have to navigate the hard alone. 🫶🏼
