The world is still asking so much of us.
To be resilient, to shrink, to carry, to nurture. And yet, here we are. 💭

✨🌞 Tips For Managing Daylight Saving Time 🌞✨

📣 Friendly reminder that clocks spring forward this Sunday. Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour before bed Saturday night! 🕐

💭While that extra evening light is something to look forward to, the time change can have some real impacts on our health and wellbeing.
We’ve put together some tips to help you ease through the transition as smoothly as possible. 👇🏼
✨ Here are a few things that can help:
🛏️ Start adjusting your bedtime by 15–20 minutes earlier as we approach this change.
☀️ Get outside for some natural light in the morning to help reset your body clock
📵 Limit screen time before bed to support better sleep quality.
🚗 Be extra cautious on the roads — studies show a 6% rise in fatal car accidents following the time change (Johns Hopkins, 2023)
♥️ Check in with yourself emotionally. Mood disturbances and stress responses are common this time of year, and that’s okay.

Be gentle with yourself this week. These effects are real, and a little extra self-compassion goes a long way. 🌿

Have you ever heard of “Helper’s High”?
When you perform acts of kindness, your brain releases serotonin and dopamine,those beautiful “feel-good” chemicals that create feelings of joy, connection, and satisfaction. ✨

Kindness can also lower cortisol (our stress hormone), and increase nitric oxide in the body, supporting healthy blood pressure and heart health. In other words, kindness is powerful medicine. ♥️

Here’s the most beautiful part:
Kindness is contagious. One small act can create a ripple effect that extends far beyond what we can see. ✨

The power of a positive mindset should not be overlooked. 💭

Small shifts in your perspective can have a significant impact on how you feel, how you treat yourself and others, as well as how you move through your day to day.

✨ If this is a new practice for you, start small.
Start by paying closer attention to your thought patterns. 💭
Then, try challenging negative thought patterns.
Simply replace things like, “I have to...” with, “I’m able to” or, “this house is such a mess”, with “I’m grateful I have a safe space to keep tidy”. 😌

Look for the positives, always.
Even when it feels tricky, there’s always something to be grateful for. (even if it’s just a learning experience) ♥️
This becomes easier and easier the more practice you get,(we promise! 😉)

Mindfulness is such an impactful and powerful tool, let’s make sure we’re using it for positive change and healing.

Your wellness belongs to you. ♥️

Despite what you may think, self-care and wellness doesn’t have to mean expensive gym memberships and luxurious spa days.

While those are lovely, true mental wellness is built in the small, quiet moments of our everyday life.

When we take a moment to pause and inhabit our bodies, we shift our nervous system from “survival mode” to “presence”.
Take notice of your breath, or the feeling of the Earth below your feet.

These small shifts have a ripple effect, and allow you to show up with more intention, and be fully present in your relationships, your work, and your personal life.

👉🏼Some more simple (& free!) ways to reconnect with yourself:
🐢 Move a little slower - try doing your daily tasks with intention. Not everything has to be rushed.
🚫 A digital detox - start small! Put your phone in a drawer for a few hours this weekend.
😌 The power of rest - prioritizing quality rest and sleep is one of the kindest things you can do for your brain. (do it guilt free!)
🫁 Mindful breathing - Take 3 deep breaths right now. Take notice of how your chest rises and falls
📝 Affirmations & gratitude - Ground yourself in what is good and true about your personal world. Reflect or write down three good things that happened today before going to bed.

💭 You don’t have to do it all at once.
Wellness is a practice of returning to yourself, one breath at a time.
