ADHD medication can be very helpful for those who truly have ADHD, but the benefits are greatest when the diagnosis is accurate. Our standard assessment looks beyond surface symptoms, considering other factors such as learning differences, to give you a clearer understanding of what’s going on. If you want a fuller picture for yourself or your child, we’re here to help you take the next step with confidence.

medications are consistently associated with reduced risks of self-harm, unintentional injury, traffic crashes, and crime, but these protective effects weakened as prescription rates increased. https://ja.ma/45sOc02

I chose to become a School Psychologist because I have a passion for helping individuals improve their learning abilities. For over a decade, I have been providing psychoeducational assessments to individuals with suspected or confirmed learning disabilities, ADHD, and/or Autism. My main goal is to assist parents in understanding the underlying causes of their child's learning difficulties and provide them with guidance on how to address these challenges. Additionally, I strive to support adults in gaining a better understanding of themselves.
When I work with someone who's having a hard time with school, making friends, or paying attention, I try to learn about their strengths and weaknesses. This way, we (me, the child, their parents, and teachers) can determine the best ways to support them in achieving their best. We create personal plans to give specialized support for each individual.
Making the decision about whether you (or your child) should have a psychoeducational assessment can be a tough choice. To help make this decision easier, I offer free consultations. I'm excited to discuss different options with you.

We often get asked questions about building self-regulation skills in young children. Here are some great ideas. There are examples of small group, partner, and individual activities. Have fun!

“When we talk about self-regulation in kids, we’re referring to the ability to maintain an arousal level that is appropriate for any given situation. Self-regulation also involves having the ability to generate appropriate behavioral and sensory responses to the input in the environment and the ability to demonstrate self control: to monitor and control behavior, attention, motor output, emotions, and social interactions.”
