Located in St. Catharines, Niagara Children’s Centre is recognized throughout the Niagara Region as the provider of rehabilitation and support services to children and youth with physical, developmental and communicative delays and disabilities. Our programs of family centred care aim at helping each child achieve his or her own unique potential so that they can participate in all activities at home, school and in the community.

That’s a wrap on our ! ❤️

In partnership with , we welcomed children and youth with physical disabilities for a two-week program filled with crafts, games, swimming, and inclusive outdoor play. From start to finish, every activity was designed to ensure everyone could join the fun—and the smiles said it all!

A huge thank you to our campers, families, staff, volunteers, and special guests who made this pilot program such a success. We can’t wait to see what next summer brings!

Our are back! ⚾

As we celebrate the 2025 season with our Challenger Baseball athletes, we wanted to do something special to commemorate the summer. Challenge complete ✅

This summer, some amazing kids took on a big challenge — using their “helper hand” more than ever before!

We recently hosted our new Upper Extremity Skills Group for children with cerebral palsy, designed to strengthen and improve motor control in their non-dominant arm and hand through constraint therapy.

With their stronger side gently constrained, kids took part in swimming, baking, sports, arts and crafts, and obstacle courses — all led by our incredible occupational therapist, occupational therapy assistant, and volunteers.

We’re so proud of our participants for pushing themselves, gaining new skills, and celebrating every moment along the way!

What a season to remember! ⚾🎉

On Saturday, we wrapped up an incredible summer with our Challenger Baseball athletes and volunteers at our end-of-season party. The day was packed with games, pizza, freezies, and goodie bags — the perfect way to celebrate our amazing team spirit. A big shout-out to the Welland Jackfish and their mascot, Jacques, for stopping by to share some pro tips and capture memorable moments with our aspiring athletes.
