Happy Birthday, Isabelle! 🎂🎈

To celebrate her big day, Isabelle and her family asked for donations to Niagara Children’s Centre instead of gifts. They were elated to learn that they raised $730 for the Centre while celebrating her special day.

Where everybody knows your name! 👍

Thanks to our inaugural group who came out this week for the very first Dad’s Corner — a new hangout just for dads and male-identifying caregivers connected to Niagara Children’s Centre. From swapping stories to sharing laughs, it was a great night of connection and community.

Here’s to building a space where fatherhood is celebrated, supported, and never done alone.

Suds & Support for the Centre 🚗💦

Rain couldn’t wash away the generosity of our community! On May 22, the 17th annual Great Wolf Lodge Charity Car Wash for Kids raised an incredible $150,000 for Niagara Children’s Centre. Despite heavy rain, a 2.5 km line of cars formed — full of honks, waves, and support from local residents.

A huge thank you to everyone who waited, donated, and cheered on the event volunteers!

An additional $150,000 was also raised for Project SHARE, making an even bigger impact for local families.

Last night was a slam dunk! 🦁🏀

Yesterday, more than two dozen of our Children’s Centre families had a memorable evening cheering on the Niagara River Lions as they defeated the Brampton Honey Badgers at the Meridian Centre.

A huge thank you to the initiative for making this unforgettable experience possible!

Camps are for everyone! 🌞

We’re excited to partner with DSBN to launch Summer Fun Camp—a brand new pilot program for children and youth (ages 4–18) with physical disabilities.

From crafts and games to pool time and inclusive outdoor play, every activity is thoughtfully designed to ensure every camper can join the fun!

Cameron’s dream came true! 🚗✨

For years, Cameron dreamed of hosting a car show at his school—and on June 20, the community helped make it happen.

Thanks to the support of his teacher Mr. Stewart, his classmates, local businesses, and car lovers from across the region, the first-ever Martha Cullimore School Car Show welcomed over 100 vehicles, 500+ guests, and raised funds for the school.

Special guests included Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati, Niagara Regional Police Service, Autism Ontario, and our very own Jackie—who has shared a special connection with Cameron over the years.

It was a day filled with joy, pride, and horsepower. And the best part? The car show is already confirmed to return in 2026! Thank you to everyone who helped bring Cameron’s vision to life.

A picture‑perfect night at prom! 📸🪩

Prom is often seen as the end of one chapter and the start of the next. For Drew and Allie, who recently attended their high school prom at St. Catharines Collegiate, it was also a reminder of how far they’ve come together — and how the journey into adulthood doesn’t have to be taken alone.

Moments like these show how friendship, inclusion, and belonging create magic… both on and off the dance floor!

Yesterday, Rotary St. Catharines and CAA Niagara hosted their annual golf tournament with proceeds going towards Niagara Children's Centre and Distress Centre. We're so appreciative of the longstanding support from this community organization. Thank you to all participants for helping children and youth in be their best!

A time of reflection, renewal, and connection to the natural world 🌞

Today marks the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, and National Indigenous Peoples Day — a time to celebrate and honour the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Turtle Island.

We acknowledge the deep spiritual significance this day holds for many Indigenous communities and invite everyone to take time to learn, reflect, and celebrate.
