Located in St. Catharines, Niagara Children’s Centre is recognized throughout the Niagara Region as the provider of rehabilitation and support services to children and youth with physical, developmental and communicative delays and disabilities. Our programs of family centred care aim at helping each child achieve his or her own unique potential so that they can participate in all activities at home, school and in the community.

“The Super Mario Brothers!”

That’s what ten-year-old Carlos Sánchez shared as his favourite part of Niagara Children’s Centre’s annual Trunk or Treat event, held on Saturday, October 25. The inclusive Halloween celebration welcomed hundreds of Centre clients and their families for a morning of accessible trick-or-treating, festive fun, and community connection.

Know before you go to this Saturday! 🎃⬇️

Get ready for our biggest lineup yet — with 27 creatively decorated trunks, it’s our most spooktacular year ever!

✨ Meet your favourite characters!
Bluey, a Disney Princess, Super Mario, and Sunny the River Otter will all be making special appearances!

👻 What to know:
- Costumes are encouraged (but not required)
- The event takes place in the Centre’s back parking lot
- Dress for the weather
- Bring a bag to collect treats and goodies
- Volunteers will be on-site to direct parking

We need your help, ! 🍬🎃👻

We’re expecting record-breaking crowds at our annual this Saturday, and we want to make sure every child has a fun and memorable experience!

If you’re able, please donate peanut-free, individually wrapped treats (chips, Bear Paws, chocolate, candy, etc.) and non-edible goodies like fidgets, spinners, mini Play-Doh, glow sticks, or bubble wands.

Drop off donations by Friday, Oct. 24 at the reception desk at Niagara Children’s Centre in St. Catharines (across from and Hotel Dieu).

A bushel of fun on the farm 🍎🍂

Last week, more than two dozen Niagara Children’s Centre families enjoyed a fall adventure at Silmaril Farm in Grimsby! We loved the accessible apple-picking experience that made it possible for everyone to take part in the autumn fun.

Joining the group was our new Recreation Therapy Assistant, Heather, whose role was made possible through the generous support of the David Howes Grant from the Niagara Community Foundation.

Get ready for some spooky fun at our inclusive Trunk or Treat, where ALL kids can enjoy an accessible trick-or-treating experience! Centre families are invited to explore our parking lot filled with creatively decorated trunks, fire trucks, police cars, and tractors—all offering edible and non-edible treats. Enjoy interactive activities and meet special guests, including Bluey, a Disney Princess, Super Mario, and Sunny the River Otter!
