As of January 1, 2026, construction sites in Ontario lasting three months or more with 20 or more workers will be required to have an AED on site. ⛑

Through WSIB’s AED reimbursement program, eligible workplaces can access support to help meet this requirement. St. John Ambulance supports employers by providing approved AEDs and first aid equipment supported by trusted training and education to promote safer, compliant job sites. Learn more at sja.ca
