URGENT REQUEST: Community Care, St. Catharines and Thorold is in desperate need of new backpacks and school supplies for their Snacks ‘N Sneakers back to school program. The Snacks n’ Sneakers program helps local school-aged children from families in financial need start their school year off on the right foot with new running shoes and other back to school supplies.

Last year, Community Care served approximately 1,200 students, and they are anticipating the number of kids in need will go up this year. Canadian Tire Bank (CTB) helps by generously donating sneakers, but we are still short 300 backpacks and the supplies to go inside them.

Please consider picking up some new backpacks and school supplies and dropping them off at either:
12 North St. St. Catharines, ON
19 Albert St W, Thorold, ON
