FOOD SAFETY
Summertime usually means camping, family gatherings, picnics, and BBQs. To keep everyone safe, you must remember to follow steps in proper food cooking and storage. Here are some examples:
- Wash your hands before handling the food
- Keep raw meat away from cooked foods
- Keep raw meat wrapped well during transportation
- Do not leave food out for longer than 2 hours
- Hot foods should be kept hot and cold foods cold
Proper cooking and storage of foods will ensure that everyone stays safe during your gathering.
