📣 Donation Hours Extended at the SCVC Thrift Store!
**Store Open Hours have NOT changed!**

🗓 Drop-off Hours:
Tuesday–Friday: 8:30am–4:30pm
Saturday: 11:00am–4:00pm

💡 Preferred drop-off times:
Tuesday–Friday: 10:00am–4:00pm
Saturday: 12:00pm–4:00pm
Our team will have extra helping hands available during these times to better assist you!

👏 If you have a larger donation, please try to come during the "preferred time" so we can assist you better. But, if you can't - No biggy! We'll be happy to help as best as we can!

📢 We’re Hiring! – SEED Summer Student Position

The St. Croix Vocational Centre Thrift Store is excited to offer 1 SEED-funded summer position at our Thrift Store!

🛍️ Position: Thrift Store Attendant
📍 Location: St. Stephen, NB
📅 Duration: Summer 2026 (SEED Program) 8 weeks

What you’ll do:

Assist with sorting and organizing donations
Help customers on the sales floor
Support day-to-day store operations
Work alongside our amazing participants and team

Who can apply:
This position is funded through the SEED Program, so applicants must:
✔️ Be a New Brunswick student
✔️ Be returning to full-time studies in Fall 2026
✔️ Meet SEED eligibility requirements

✨ This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build workplace skills, and be part of a supportive, community-focused environment!

We have some exciting news at the thrift store! 🥳
We are pleased to introduce you to two very special new additions to the thrift store family. 🥰
A.R.C.H. and D.O.N.A. – Arch is our Automated Robotics CHeckout and Dona is our Donation Organizer & Needs Assistant.
They will be in service today to help with all of your thrifting and donation needs.
We are so excited as we become fully automated and offer more streamlined services!! 😉

As we are looking ahead at the week, please note that the thrift store will be closed Friday, April 3rd until Monday, April 6th and reopen on Tuesday the 7th at 10:00 a.m..
It is very important that you do not drop off donations if the sign says closed, as these will not be brought in over the holiday long weekend.🥰 Thank you for your help with this, we hope everyone has a lovely long weekend! ☺️
