Celebrating 5 Wonderful Years at Royal Oak Senior Living

What an unforgettable evening at our 5 Year Anniversary Gala! Surrounded by laughter, music, and heartfelt moments, we reflected on the incredible journey that has shaped Royal Oak into the vibrant community it is today.

To our residents, past and present, thank you for filling our halls with stories, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. You are the heart of everything we do.

To our dedicated staff, your compassion, commitment, and everyday kindness have built something truly special. This milestone belongs to you just as much.

A special thank you to Rick Kish and Friends for the wonderful live entertainment that had toes tapping, hands clapping, and smiles all around.

From elegant dining to joyful celebrations and meaningful connections, this evening was a beautiful reminder of what makes Royal Oak feel like home.

Strike up some fun!

Our residents at Royal Oak Senior Living had an absolute blast bowling with Xbox Kinect this week! From friendly competition to lots of laughs and cheers, it was wonderful to see everyone getting active, engaged, and enjoying time together. Who knew virtual bowling could bring so much real joy?

Way to go, everyone, those strikes were impressive!

We were proud to cater the Young At Heart Committee Drive-Through Lunch at the Southwold Keystone Complex!

It’s always a pleasure to support such a wonderful group, and this time we had the opportunity to serve 120 seniors in our community. Moments like these truly highlight the power of coming together and looking out for one another.

A big thank you to all the volunteers and committee members who helped organize and run this fantastic event. Your hard work makes a meaningful difference in so many lives.

We’re grateful to be a part of it!

What a great afternoon cheering on the Jays together! Yesterday our residents gathered in the theatre for a fun Blue Jays lunch and watch party. The room was filled with great conversation, laughter, and plenty of ballpark-style snacks including hotdogs, onion rings, ice-cream and popcorn while we watched the game on the big screen.

Events like these are a home run because they bring everyone together to enjoy great food, great company, and a little friendly baseball excitement. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon such a fun time!

It was a beautiful day for a little nature adventure! Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to see the incredible Tundra Swans in Aylmer. Every year, thousands of these majestic birds stop in the area during their spring migration, creating a truly breathtaking sight.

From the viewing station, we watched the swans glide across the water, listened to their unique calls, and even spotted a bright Northern Cardinal perched above us. Moments like these remind us how special it is to experience nature together.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this peaceful and memorable outing!

☘️ A Lucky Day at Royal Oak Senior Living! ☘️

We had a fantastic time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day together! From festive green outfits to delicious treats, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and a little Irish luck.

A huge thank you to the Celtic Dance Co. of Western ON, part of the Sutherland Studio of Dance, for their beautiful and talented dance routines. Our residents absolutely loved the performance. It truly brought the spirit of Ireland right into our home!

Residents also enjoyed tasty minty shamrock shakes, festive decorations, and plenty of fun celebrating all things green. We even took an armchair travel trip to Ireland, exploring the beauty, culture, and charm of the Emerald Isle together. And it seems one mischievous leprechaun even stopped by with a few gold coins to share! 🍀💰

A St. Patrick’s Day toast to all:
“May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow,
and may trouble avoid you wherever you go.” ☘️

Our residents had an absolute blast during Jenga time, cheering each other on, holding their breath with every move, and celebrating the big tumble at the end!
