Exciting News!

The office will be closed today Tuesday July 1, 2025 for the Canada Day holiday (including after hours clinic). July also brings a new physician, Dr. Laura McCracken, to join our clinic. If you live in St.Thomas/Elgin and do not have a family physician or regular primary care nurse practitioner you can pick up a prospective patient form at our office (please do not call the office). Beginning this week, our after hours clinic will also expand to be available (for our rostered patients only) Mondays-Thursdays 5:00-7:45pm and Saturdays 9:00-11:45am.

❤️Please welcome Elizabeth de Jong to the family! Elizabeth is our newest midwife who will be starting with us in July of this year! We are so pleased that she is joining us! Elizabeth graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University. Having been raised in Huron county, she completed training close to home at Huron Midwives, Countryside Midwives, and Midwives of Muskoka. With a previous degree in Kineseology, she has a love for movement and when not at a birth or in the clinic, you can find her hiking, swimming, or cycling. Welcome Elizabeth!

In response to the current measles risk in our community and region, STEGH has revised its Family Presence and Visiting Guidelines Policy, effective March 17, 2025. These updates specifically affect the Women & Children's Unit and the Chemotherapy/Systemic Therapy Unit. Are you pregnant and without a healthcare provider?
Do you have children aged 0-6 years old without a healthcare provider?

If so, you might qualify for visits with one of our nurse practitioners in our Pediatric and Perinatal Program for patients without a doctor or nurse practitioner.
