Remember Ava? If you do, you know what an amazing and positive person she is.
If you never met her, I am sorry for you.
But I was lucky to see her this weekend to honor and celebrate her achievements.
She is on her way to medical school! A start of a long journey that is oh so tiring but the best reward at the end.
So all of you, let’s be her cheerleaders as she starts this journey
I will be there for her at the middle and the end and wishing her the best.
And I hope she won’t be like me and forget a whole decade (I have no idea what happened in the ‘90’s).

Oh what a night…
When you are curious and open to possibilities, lovely things can happen. .
I was able to sit next to the owner of a small winery (King and Vic near Grimsby) and tasted his wines and learned his mission statement is “joy”.
I think I could taste that joy.
So, if you want amazing wine, filled with joy, and fostered by a group of optimistic and patient people, visit the “King and Vic” winery this year.
And when you go there, say hello to Rob and ask him to tell you his idea for an animated movie about yeast…it’s worth it. I’m asking all Sheridan students to start brainstorming.
