Novus Rehab

Novus Rehab is there for you following your motor vehicle accident to help you access the services you need for your recovery.

Novus Rehab is a team of experienced health care professionals who provide rehabilitation services to our clientele following injury or illness; most often this work occurs after a motor vehicle accident. Legislative changes in automobile insurance policies often make it difficult for people to understand and manoeuvre the system. Our caring staff will provide assistance at all levels so that you receive the treatment that you need and can focus on getting better. We collaborate with your insurance company, legal representative, workplace/school and treating practitioners to ensure that you and your family are fully supported. In most cases, your treatment is fully funded by your automobile insurance. Our clinical staff work across Southwestern and Central Ontario, essentially from the Toronto area to Sarnia/Windsor and north to Owen Sound.

Let’s take a minute to meet Jennifer! Jennifer is an experienced case manager that has been assisting with clients recovery post MVA. both adults and paediatric clients, focusing on brain injury, amputation, spinal cord injury, chronic pain, and mental health. Take a look at the little facts you may not have know about Jennifer! on her downtime, she is a social butterfly and loves spending time with family as well as friends. She also enjoys quiet time on the water! Jennifer, Novus is happy to have you!

It's Nursing Week and here at Novus Rehab, that means one person...Avery Wong is our one and only registered nurse.

While the bulk of her clients receive case management support from her after their injuries, Avery is also able to offer clinical nursing skills like wound care, medication reviews, bowel and bladder/catheter care and education, and mental health assessments. These services are funded privately at times or through attendant care benefits.

Before joining Novus, Avery worked on Parkwood's inpatient Rehab unit, St. Joseph's forensic mental health program, as well as long term care home management teams. We're so appreciative that Avery has found a home here at Novus to highlight her skills and commitment to her client's.

Here at Novus Rehab, we offer a variety of different rehabilitation services. At this time, we are accepting clients for professional psychological therapy. Depending on individual preferences, we offer both virtual as well as in-person therapy. Novus currently offers both social work services as well as psychotherapy.
