Today, we acknowledge the important contributions of pharmacists across Ontario. In addition to dispensing medications, pharmacists can prescribe for a variety of common conditions and provide expert guidance, making them an important part of local care teams.

We thank pharmacists in Elgin and across the province for their dedication, knowledge, and commitment to supporting the health and well-being of our communities.

Looking to get your COVID-19 or flu shot this season?
➡️Influenza immunizations will be available beginning October 6th for high-risk individuals. Availability for the general population will follow beginning October 27th. Please contact your local pharmacy or healthcare provider.

Southwestern Public Health will not be hosting public vaccination clinics this fall.
➡️The only exception is for children under 5 years of age—we’ll continue offering clinics for this age group.
